Values in Recruitment Webinar

This June, values expert Jackie Le Fèvre is running a webinar that shows how values shape recruitment and influence results from the perspective of recruiter and candidate, drawing on practical examples.

The webinar will take place on 20th June from 4-5pm UK time, and attendees will take away:

  • Increased clarity around what ‘values’ are and what they are not
  • Raised awareness of the part being played by values currently in recruitment even if unintended
  • Exploration of different ways in which values can be consciously harnessed in recruitment
  • Discussion of pros and cons of consciously values-based recruitment

About Jackie and her work

Jackie was first introduced to her personal values at the end of 2004 by Michael Henderson and nothing was the same again.

In 2005 she set up her own company – Magma Effect – to bring one of the worlds leading values profiling tools to the UK. Today Jackie is a Founding Director of the Minessence International Co-operative which owns the AVI values technologies; a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute where she is a member of the Subject Matter Experts Group contributing insights on culture and values; and a member of the UK Values Alliance.

Recently Jackie has worked with Helen Sanderson Associates and Wellbeing Teams to develop a values-based approach to recruitment which has helped us to find the right people to work as part of our home care teams.

Here, Helen did a live blog from our values-based recruitment day for Wellbeing Teams in Paignton, which can give you a flavour of what it’s all about:

With experience of working with individual and collective values across not for profit and commercial settings, Jackie has personally worked with more than 400 individuals bringing values to life for increased meaning and motivation. A qualified trainer, Jackie has spoken at a variety of regional and national events on values earning a reputation for managing to keep things simple whilst exploring the theory and practice of what can become a complicated topic.
